Updated Supporter Setup

Latest guide update: May 23, 2026.

Flix-Streams Setup FAQ

Follow these steps in order. Start with an account, then choose sources, then install the stable manifest in Stremio.

Keep private details private

Do not post your email, manifest URL, supporter token, access token, M3U URL, Emby login, Jellyfin login, or VPN profile in public. If support needs private details, send them only in a direct message.

1. Create or open your account

Click Log in or Configure Addon, then create an account or log in. You need an account before the new configure page lets you change providers, Live TV, media servers, VPN, or settings.

Your Flix account email is only for login and saving your stable profile. Your Ko-fi supporter email can be different.

2. Activate supporter access if you paid

Open Overview and find the supporter activation box. Enter the email you used for the Ko-fi payment, then click Activate Supporter Access.

If the payment has synced, your tier appears on the page and the paid sources become available. If it does not appear right away, wait a minute and try again.

3. Pick a preset or choose sources yourself

On Overview, use a preset if you want a quick start. Balanced is the normal default, Live TV Focus adds the main Live TV sources, and Fast Mode keeps the setup lighter.

For manual setup, open Sources. Use Providers for movies, series, anime, vault sources, and media-library sources. Use Live TV for channel and live-event sources.

4. Save and copy your stable manifest URL

Go to Account. Your stable manifest URL is the one you should install in Stremio. It stays the same, and your saved account settings sync to it.

If you change providers or Live TV later, save/sync the settings again. If a Stremio catalog does not update, reinstall the addon with the same stable manifest URL.

5. Install it in Stremio

Copy the stable manifest URL from Account. In Stremio, add it as an addon manifest URL. If Stremio already has an older Flix-Streams install, uninstall the old one first, then install the stable URL again.

6. Optional: personal M3U/M3U8

Eligible active plans can use the personal Live TV M3U/M3U8 URL from the account page. Paste it into IPTV apps using the M3U URL method. Do not use Xtream code fields.

Treat this URL like a password. Do not share it.

7. Optional: Emby, Jellyfin, and VPN

If your active plan includes media-server access, open Sources -> Media Servers and activate it there. The page will show the server details and login you should use.

If your active plan includes VPN access, open Sources -> VPN, activate it, then follow the WireGuard instructions shown on the page.

Quick fixes

  • If supporter access does not activate, check that you typed the Ko-fi payment email, not necessarily your Flix login email.
  • If paid providers stay locked after payment, wait a minute and click Activate Supporter Access again.
  • If Live TV categories look old in Stremio, reinstall the addon after changing Live TV settings.
  • If you need help, ask in Discord without posting private URLs, tokens, M3U links, media-server logins, or VPN details.

Quick Start

Fastest free setup

Open Configure, keep VidZee, VixSrc, and EE3 enabled, then use Install on Stremio. EE3 can surface extra movie quality options, including 4K when available, without needing a supporter token.

Fastest supporter setup

Support with Ko-fi, then scroll to Already supported? on the Account page. Enter the email used for the Ko-fi payment, click Activate Supporter Access, enable the providers you want, then install the addon. Your supporter payment email and your Flix account registration email can be different; they are used for two separate things.

Best long-term setup

Configure everything first, then open Account, register or log in, save your draft to the stable manifest, and install using that stable personal URL so future saved changes sync more cleanly.

General

What is Flix-Streams?

Flix-Streams is a powerful Stremio addon that aggregates movie and TV show streams from multiple high-quality providers. It features supporter subtitle integration through Wyzie and supports Live TV channels.

Is Flix-Streams free to use?

Yes, Flix-Streams offers a free tier with VidZee, VixSrc, and EE3. EE3 in the free tier is movie-only and can also expose multiple movie quality options, including 4K when available. To support ongoing server costs and development, additional providers, including Live TV and Live Sports sources, are reserved for supporters.

Which AioStream setup works well with Flix-Streams?

If you want to run AioStream alongside Flix-Streams, the cleanest recommendation is the Stremio Perfect Setup guide below. It gives you a good baseline setup without fighting the Flix-Streams provider and subtitle flow.

Supporter Access

How can I become a supporter?

You can become a supporter through Ko-fi. Use an email you can access for the payment, then enter that payment email in the Already supported? box on the Account page. This does not have to be the same email as your Flix account registration email. Flix-Streams currently supports Monthly Unlimited and 1 Year Unlimited access through Ko-fi. The yearly option includes the same access bundle as Monthly Unlimited and is cheaper than paying month to month.

How do I retrieve my supporter token?

On the Account page, scroll to Already supported?, enter the email used for the Ko-fi payment, then click Activate Supporter Access. If the payment has synced, your supporter token will be filled in automatically. If it is not returned immediately, wait a moment and try again, or paste the token manually if you already received it.

How does tier upgrade work?

Flix-Streams matches supporter access by payment email. Monthly Unlimited and 1 Year Unlimited stay active for their billing period and include the shared Emby and Jellyfin media-server login while active. After the payment sync completes, use Activate Supporter Access again with the same payment email and the updated access should be reflected on the same supporter flow.

What if I used a different email or the token does not update immediately?

The supporter system matches payments by the Ko-fi payment email. Your Flix account email is separate and can be different. If you paid with one email but type another in the supporter email box, the payment may not be found automatically. If the token or upgraded tier does not appear right away, wait a little for payment sync, then click Activate Supporter Access again or paste the token manually if you already received it. If it still does not match after that, ask in Discord so the payment email and supporter access can be checked.

What do I get as a supporter?

Supporters unlock the full premium lineup. That includes Wyzie subtitles, the featured vault and library sources like Signal Vault, Usenet Vault, Debrid Vault, Jellyfin / Media Library, Emby / Media Library, Lotus Vault, and Archive Vault; movie and series providers like RiveStream, Cineby, Vadapav, UhdMovies, 4KHDHub, VegaMovies, Watch2Movies, MoviesMod, MkvCinemas, and HollyMovieHD; anime-focused sources like Aniways, AnimeAV1, AnimeFlix, GokuHD, and KissKH; plus the supporter Live TV providers such as CNCVerse, Premium IPTV, Live Sports, Libre Futbol, Free Live Sports, and Toonami Aftermath.

Providers & Content

Which providers are supported?

We currently support VidZee, VixSrc, and EE3 in the free tier, with EE3 acting as a movie-only source that can return multiple quality variants such as 4K, 1080p, and 720p when available; premium movie and library sources like Signal Vault, Usenet Vault, Debrid Vault, Jellyfin / Media Library, Emby / Media Library, Lotus Vault, Archive Vault, RiveStream, Cineby, Vadapav, UhdMovies, 4KHDHub, VegaMovies, Watch2Movies, MoviesMod, MkvCinemas, and HollyMovieHD; anime-focused sources like Aniways, AnimeAV1, AnimeFlix, GokuHD, and KissKH; and supporter Live TV options such as CNCVerse, Premium IPTV, Live Sports, Libre Futbol, Free Live Sports, and Toonami Aftermath.

Why are some providers locked?

To maintain a high-quality service and cover infrastructure costs, some providers require a supporter token. The free tier remains available with VidZee, VixSrc, and EE3, while additional providers are unlocked for supporters.

A stream is not working, what should I do?

Stream availability depends on external sources. If one provider fails, try another one from the list. If playback does not start at all, it is also worth trying a public DNS such as Google DNS (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) or even testing with a VPN, since some networks or ISPs can interfere with certain stream sources. If it's a new release, it might take some time for high-quality links to appear. If a provider keeps failing, you can report it on our Discord server so we can check it.

Live TV

What Live TV options are available?

Live TV is now handled through supporter providers such as CNCVerse, Premium IPTV, Live Sports, Libre Futbol, Free Live Sports, and Toonami Aftermath from the Configure page.

Do I need to reinstall after changing Live TV settings?

Yes. If you change any Live TV provider settings, reinstall the addon in Stremio so the catalog changes appear correctly.

Premium Extras

How do I use the Premium Live TV Vault M3U?

After supporter access is active, open Account and scroll to Premium Live TV Vault M3U. Eligible active plans get a personal M3U URL for IPTV apps and playlist clients. Click Copy M3U URL, then paste it into your IPTV app as an M3U URL. Use the M3U URL login method, not Xtream code fields.

How do I activate Emby and Jellyfin access?

Eligible active plans can open Account, scroll to the Media Servers section, and click Activate Media Server Access. The page will generate one username and password plus Emby and Jellyfin server URLs. In either app or web player, add the matching server URL, use port 443 when needed, then log in with the generated username and password.

How do I activate VPN access?

Eligible active plans can open Account, scroll to the VPN section, and click the VPN activation button. Follow the instructions shown there to get the WireGuard profile, then import it into the WireGuard app on your device.

Step-by-Step Setup

How do I set up the free tier step by step?

1. Open the Configure page.
2. Leave supporter access empty if you only want the free tier.
3. Keep VidZee, VixSrc, and EE3 enabled. EE3 can add 4K and other quality variants when they are available.
4. Adjust subtitles or provider order if you want.
5. Use Install on Stremio in the Install & Manifest section to install the current generated manifest URL.
6. If you change catalog-style settings later, reinstall the addon so the catalog layout updates correctly.

How do I set up supporter access step by step?

1. Support through Ko-fi using the payment email you want attached to supporter access.
2. Go back to the Account page and scroll to Already supported?.
3. Enter that Ko-fi payment email.
4. Click Activate Supporter Access.
5. If the token does not appear immediately, wait a moment for payment sync, then try again or paste the token manually into Supporter token.
6. Remember that your supporter payment email and your Flix account registration email can be different; supporter email unlocks access, account email saves your stable profile.
7. Open the Providers and Live TV tabs and enable the paid providers you actually want to use.
8. Install the addon with Install on Stremio after your provider and Live TV choices look right.

Do I need to register an account?

Registration is required before configuring the new account page. Log in or create an account first, then your saved settings auto-sync to one stable personal manifest URL.

Where do I find the stable manifest URL?

You can get to it in two places. On the Configure page, the Install & Manifest block has a Register / Login button and explains the stable URL flow. On the Account page, the Session & URLs section shows your Stable manifest URL and your Current generated manifest URL side by side.

What is the recommended stable-manifest flow?

1. Configure your providers, Live TV, and subtitles first.
2. Open Account and register or log in.
3. Save the current draft to your stable manifest from Stable Profile Actions.
4. Copy the Stable manifest URL from the Account page, or use the install flow from the Configure page.
5. Later config changes will keep that stable URL updated automatically in the background, except catalog-type changes such as Live TV catalog toggles, which still need reinstalling.

When do I need to reinstall, and when is saving enough?

For normal provider, subtitle, and preference changes, saving your stable manifest or reinstalling the current generated manifest is usually enough. For catalog-type changes, especially Live TV catalog toggles or country catalog selection changes, reinstall the addon in Stremio so the catalog layout refreshes correctly.

What is the difference between the current generated manifest and the stable manifest?

The current generated manifest reflects the browser draft you are editing right now on the Configure page. The stable manifest is your saved personal URL tied to your account. If you want a reusable personal install link that stays the same over time, log in and save your draft to the stable manifest.

How many providers should I enable at once?

Even if your paid tier allows more, the best real-world experience is usually around 3 to 5 enabled providers. Turning on too many at once can slow addon loading and make results feel less consistent. A good approach is to test a few combinations and keep only the providers that work best for your content and region.

Subtitles

How do I use Wyzie subtitles?

Activate supporter access first, then enable "Wyzie Subtitles" in the configuration and select your preferred languages. Active subscribers and legacy one-time supporters can use Wyzie; free-tier installs keep Wyzie disabled. When you play a video in Stremio, the subtitles will be automatically fetched and listed in the subtitle menu.

Can I add custom subtitle languages?

Yes! You can type ISO language codes (like 'fr' for French or 'de' for German) in the custom languages field on the configuration page.

Technical

How do I update my settings?

Simply visit the configuration page again, make your changes, and click "Install on Stremio". This will update the addon in your Stremio library with the new configuration.

Does it work on Android TV / FireStick?

Absolutely! Flix-Streams works on all platforms that support Stremio, including Android TV, Google TV, Fire TV, Windows, macOS, and Linux.

How do I use it on iPhone or iPad?

On iOS, use Stremio Web because the normal Stremio app is not available in the App Store. You will also need an external video player such as Outplayer, VLC, or Infuse for playback. The Flix-Streams setup itself is the same: configure providers, copy or install the manifest URL, then use it through Stremio Web.

How do I install the manifest in Nuvio?

Configure Flix-Streams the same way, then copy the manifest URL from Install & Manifest. In Nuvio, open Account, then Content & Discovery, then Add-ons. Paste the manifest URL into the add-on bar and install it there.
